I honestly had the greatest time meeting my conversation partners. I actually met all three of them at the same time and they seemed to get along quite well. My first conversation partner's name is Kosuke, but he goes by "Ko." (Thank goodness!) He was definitely the most confident in speaking English than the rest of my partners. Ko is 22 years old and he is from Japan. He told me that he is in Level 3 for Grammar and Level 3 for Listening and Speaking. He is a Sports Management major (I believe he is a Graduate Student). He was extremely energetic and excited about talking with me. He chose to study Sports Management because he is VERY passionate for all sports. His favorite is baseball because he played (outfielder) for 12 years. (I think that we are going to have a lot in common.) He told me some of his other interests are traveling. He has been all around the world including India, Nepal and Cambodia. I asked him if he knew anything about yoga because I am very passionate about yoga, and his face lit up with excitement! We decided that we are going to go to the Leach on Sunday afternoon and participate in one of their yoga classes. I also really would like to have him come with me to my yoga studio and participate in a Bikram (hot- like 103 degrees!!) yoga class with me. We have already set up another time that we will meet as well. I am really looking forward to talking with him more.
