When I met Sarah Kim, I learned that she is from Seoul, South Korea. She is Christian and told me she was named Sarah because her parents wanted to name her after someone from the bible. I found this odd because usually Korean natives have two parts to their first name. She is a doctorate student and is doing her dissertation on the folds of the brain. I was surprised, because of the difficulty of the material. It is one thing to study in your own country but learning all of the terms you learned again in a foreign country makes things a lot more difficult. We were wondering what we could do together and decided that we would meet up on google talk for the first time since our weekly schedule was too tight. She had a lot to do because her paper was due that next weekend and she wanted to work on it as much as she could. I would like to know more about the topic she is studying, it sounds very interesting. She also mentioned that her family is in Korea. She told be what college she went to as well and said that she really enjoys learning English.
