On Friday I met with Mohammed. This was our first meeting but due to a time confusion it was cut down to only 40 minutes. Mohammed is from Saudi Arabia and he is very nice. Unfortunately, he is leaving next week to go back to Saudi Arabia. Mohammed had some questions regarding using two verbs in a row. He wanted to know why some are followed by infinitive and others followed by gerund. I helped Mohammed with these but I made sure not to give him any answers too easily. Mohammed was very good at creating sentences and produced most of the answers on his own correctly. I resorted to my computer to pull up some information to help explain why you would use infinitive and vice versa. I found the website listed below and Mohammed and I went through it together. Again, Mohammed did not have much trouble and seemed to understand everything well. I am going to try to meet with Mohammed again before he leaves, hopefully we can find a time to do so.
