Friday night I went to Milano's to see Ramin's awesome Flamenco band with Do Houn. Do Houn is also Brian's CP so he met up with us along with Jackson, his CP, Sydney, and a few of Do Houn's friends. It was fun to have such a diverse group. I feel like we could have sat at the restaurant and talked all night! We all got to know each other a lot better. For example, Do Houn's girlfriend is an art major just like me! She mostly paints pictures of landscapes and nature. I would love to see her work some day. He also told me that their relationship has been better lately, which was great to hear! Do Houn and his friends, who are all Exercise Science majors, showed us pictures of them teaching snowboarding and swimming in Korea. Sydney was able to relate to them because of her job at the Leach. Do Houn actually had to get up the next morning to bike 100 kilometers with his professor! I don't know how he does it. Our group ended up talking about everything from Korean pop music to arranged marriages to drinking culture to, of course, food. Apparently, Korean's know how to party and their nightlife seems quite similar to America. The entire night Do Houn's friends were trying to persuade me to come teach in Seoul when I finish my certificate. That place sounds like paradise after talking with them! Overall, it was a night filled with excellent music, food, and new friends! Great job, Ramin!
We decided to say "kimchi" instead of cheese for all of the photos.
